Our Mission:

 Reduce dog euthanasia and promote responsible pet ownership

Thousands of dogs are euthanized each year in Oklahoma due to accidental and purposeful dog breeding.  Our goal is to help save as many lives as we can and help educate the citizens of Oklahoma about responsible pet ownership.

Free Me Friday is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.

About 1000 dogs and cats are euthanized by city shelters each month in Oklahoma.  Every dog that gets put to death ends up in a trash bag in the dumpster. It's a devastating reality that happens every day.

OMG the city shelters should stop doing this, right?  They don't have a choice unfortunately. There simply isn't enough space to accommodate the hundreds of animals that come into city shelters each day.

This can all be prevented by responsible pet ownership.

How you can help:

• Spay and neuter your pets

• NEVER support a puppy mill or breeder

• Share that pets from breeders have a much higher rate of health problems and genetic disorders

• Donate to $FreeMeFriday on CashApp so we can help save dogs from death and promote education

Also, please get involved in your local city shelter. They are all under staffed and overcrowded. Volunteers are always needed to help walk dogs and give them attention so they don't go crazy being in doggy jail for weeks/months.  The shelter is a very stressful confusing place for dogs.

You can also help foster.  Find a dog on the euth list that day, foster them and save their life!
